Description: The
Plast-Opake Series are 15 very opaque plastisol colors
formulated for use with dark and light 100% colored fabrics.
An underbase low bleed white (Snap) can be used when dealing
with 50/50 shirts. The Plast-Opake inks are creamy and easy
to print on both manual and automatic equipment.
RECOMMENDED FABRICS - Cotton
and some Cotton Polyester blends. On some polyester content
fabrics, dye migration or bleeding may occur. These types of
fabrics should be tested prior to beginning any production
of a finished product. Dye migration or bleeding may not
occur immediately, so longer term testing of the ink film on
the fabric is strongly recommended.
INK APPLICATION - The
Plast-Opake Series inks should be used right from the
container without any modifications when printing on dark
fabrics. If thinning is needed, use 3% to10% of Plast-Opake
Curable Reducer or Plast -Obase extender . Adding too much
reducer - base or other additives will cause loss of
opacity.
SCREEN MESH AND EMULSION - 60
– 230 t/in (24 to 90 t/cm) Monofilament depending on
coverage needed.
Use any direct or indirect
lacquer proof emulsion.
Use 35 to 70 Micron Capillary
Film
160 – 230 t/in (63 to 90 t/cm)
Monofilament for under base if needed.
